Seven New Countries Join the CC-P® Community in 2025
/The Certified Climate Change Professional (CC-P®) credential expanded into seven new countries in 2025: Bangladesh, Germany, Palestinian Territory, Romania, Serbia, Thailand, and Trinidad and Tobago.
The CC-P® is now held by professionals in 18 countries, representing climate change work across government, industry, finance, academia, and civil society.
The international expansion reflects how widely climate change strategy is being directed. Practitioners in vastly different operating contexts share a common need: rigorous, verifiable expertise in the work the next decade will require.
The CC-P® was developed across sectors and refined through input from practitioners working in diverse regulatory and operational environments. Its applicability across geographies has been a feature of the credential since its launch.
ACCO will continue to support the international community of CC-P® professionals through cohort programs, peer networks, and continuing education. More information about the credential is available at https://climateofficers.org/certification-professional.
