ACCO’s live online training programs incorporate pragmatic and real-life scenarios in a collaborative learning environment with peer practitioners and resources to facilitate your professional development.
The Association of Climate Change Officers (ACCO) is offering a series of live online training programs to help Pennsylvania state agency personnel build competencies to effectively integrate climate change into their decision-making, program management and professional activities. This series provides participants with training in a peer cohort environment that will prepare them for the Certified Climate Change Professional® (CC-P®) credential exams by leveraging a combination of video homework, live training and interactive exercises/discussions.
Participants will learn from experts and practitioners about the implications of climate change, and related opportunities, for Pennsylvania state agencies, infrastructure, residents and businesses. The curriculum has been designed to benefit professionals across a broad range of environmental program and policy roles and will incorporate regionally oriented case studies and scenarios for Pennsylvania and the mid-Atlantic United States.
